I write very briefly what has been happening latety:

SARCOFAGUS NEWS

There are now 2 versions of Sarcofagus! Sarcofagus with original singer Hannu Leiden and Sarcofagus Ltd with singer Tanja Katinka Karttunen.
Confusing? Not really... In Moottorilinnut (Motorbirds) album 1982 we had 3 different singers :)

With Hannu Leiden we have made two remakes: Our first single song "Go To Hell" and from our first album "Cycle Of Life" song "Astral Flyer"
The songs are now finished! We got Hannu's Vocals when we were in Finland this February. It is really cool to compare these new versions with
original ones from almost 30 years ago!

We'll continue working with Hannu to do more music!

SARCOFAGUS LTD NEWS

We finally finished our first music video from the "Core Values" cd (2007). The song is "Collateral Damage".
Finnish TV YLE showed it on their Music TV on 8th April. It is not yet on the internet, but will be soon...
The video footage was filmed a year ago but we just did not have time edit it ourselves.
Instead we had a young editor Alex Wright to edit it and he has done a great job. We are very pleased with the video!

SARCOFAGUS LIVE?

While in Finland this February we played together for the first time in 27 years! It was really fun!

The plan is to start gigging as soon as our work situation permits. Late summer or Autumn 2008?

The band on stage will be both Sarcofagus and Sarcofagus Ltd. So we will have two singers Hannu Leiden and Tanja Katinka Karttunen
Hannu will sing songs from "Cycle Of Life" and Tanja songs from "Core Values".

Looking forward to be back on stage.

INTERNATIONAL HEAVY METAL DOCUMENTARY

Very exciting news is that we have started to film an International Documentary about Finnish Heavy Metal Scene.
We were in Finland in February filming for two weeks. We filmed footage at the Finnish Metal Expo and around Finland.

While filming with Juho Juntunen we finally got our first Tattoos! About time!
The tattoo is of course the Eye Of Horus which is the Sarcofagus symbol.

For those who have been wondering why it has been quiet in Sarcofagus front here's the reason: BALTIC SEA ADVENTURE!

This is 8x48min High Definition Real Life Adventure Series.

This project has been the all consuming beast for 2.5 years. Since early spring we have been working 7 days a week looooong hours editing it...

This has trully been an adventure for us. We were chasing a Second World War Lost U-Boot at Baltic Sea with some seriously cool divers from Sweden, UK, Estonia & Finland...

There's a 16min trailer on the www.balticseaadventure.com and other info and pictures. The Series has just entered the International Distribution.

If that is not enough we also have a Feature Length Film "Epic's Journey" where we are dealing with my old favourite; mythology.

This project is also almost done. I have already composed and recorded 2h of music for this. But more about this on www.epicsjourney.com
